Referral signup connects an invitation to an account. Before submitting registration, verify the official domain, regional and product eligibility, the applied code and your own benefit terms. Creating an account and qualifying for rewards are separate steps.

What should I check before signing up?

  1. Check eligibility: confirm both account availability and access to the intended product in your place of residence. Website access alone is insufficient.
  2. Check the address: use the official app or exchange domain. Do not enter credentials on a lookalike destination.
  3. Identify the program: distinguish personal referrals from affiliates and check which products qualify.
  4. Check the code: confirm the invitation on the registration screen. If it is unclear, contact support before completing signup.
  5. Record the terms: save your benefit, verification, deposit and trading requirements, and start/end times with their time zone.

Can a referral code be added or changed after signup?

Rules differ by program. Bybit’s Referral FAQ says a signup without the referral link or code is not recognized as a referral. Its separate Affiliate guide permits eligible main accounts with no existing referrer to add an affiliate code within 14 days. This exception excludes ordinary referral codes, and an added affiliate code cannot be canceled or changed.

Do not rely on a blanket claim that codes can be added later. Match your code type and account conditions to the official rules first.

What should I check if a benefit is missing?

Send official support the program name, registration time and time zone, and a copy of the relevant terms. Do not share passwords, verification codes or recovery phrases. Resolve the reason for a missing benefit before making additional trades to pursue it.

  • Attribution: whether the correct program and invitation are linked
  • Eligibility: new-account status, region, product and required verification
  • Qualifying activity: eligible deposit methods, transaction types, amounts and measurement period
  • Payment terms: claim steps, payment date, expiry and withdrawal restrictions

Does clicking a link confirm that the code is applied?

Do not assume a click is confirmation. Check the registration screen and account attribution; ask official support before completing signup if it cannot be verified.

Can a signup reward be withdrawn immediately?

It depends on the reward and its terms. Distinguish withdrawable balances from fee vouchers or trading bonuses, and check their usage and withdrawal restrictions.
